LPG® Endermologie Scar Therapy Stonehaven

Gentle, hands free support for scars.

LPG® Endermologie scar therapy uses rhythmic mechanical massage to mobilise scar tissue and the skin around it. It may help scars feel softer, more flexible and more comfortable over a course of sessions.

Overview

Where LPG® began.

LPG® technology was first developed in France in the 1980s to help mobilise scar tissue. Today it is used in clinics worldwide alongside surgical, oncology and rehabilitation care.

Scars can feel tight, raised, tethered or uncomfortable, and can limit how freely skin and the tissue beneath it move. LPG® treatment heads roll and gently lift the skin to encourage movement in the tissue, supporting comfort and flexibility. We work around your medical picture and always start with an assessment.

How it works

A motorised treatment head with rollers and controlled suction mobilises the skin and underlying tissue in precise, repeatable movements.

What to expect

Sessions are comfortable for most people. Pressure is adjusted to your scar, sensitivity and comfort throughout.

How many sessions

Scar tissue changes gradually. Most people need a course of treatments, and your practitioner will recommend a plan after assessment.

When to start

Questions

Scar therapy FAQs.

Does LPG® scar therapy remove scars?

No treatment can remove a scar. The aim is to support softer, more flexible and more comfortable scar tissue. We will explain realistic outcomes at your assessment.

Is it suitable after cancer treatment?

Often, yes, with clearance from your medical team. We adapt pressure, timing and session length around your treatment stage and how you feel.

How soon after surgery can I start?

Only once the wound is fully healed and you have clearance. This varies by procedure, so we will discuss your timeline with you.

Does it hurt?

Most people find it comfortable. Pressure is adjusted throughout the session and you can ask us to change it at any time.
