Worried about a mole or skin lesion?

You do not have to sit with uncertainty or rely on an online image search.

At Bio Medspa we capture detailed images using a medical-grade dermatoscope and securely submit them for assessment by a UK consultant dermatologist. You receive a clear digital report, normally within 24–48 hours, explaining the dermatologist’s opinion and any recommended next steps.

If anything requires further investigation, your report can be taken to your GP or dermatologist to support an appropriate referral.

Important: This screening service does not replace biopsy or histology and is not a definitive cancer diagnosis. CryoPen treatment is only considered when a lesion has been appropriately assessed and confirmed as suitable for cosmetic removal.

Medical-grade precision

Targeted cryotherapy with CryoPen.

Fast, precise freezing designed to treat the lesion while minimising damage to surrounding healthy tissue.

CryoPen delivers a controlled, high-pressure jet of nitrous oxide directly to suitable benign tissue. Its fine applicator allows your practitioner to work accurately, making it appropriate for small and delicate treatment areas where precision matters.

It may be used for selected skin tags, milia, age spots and other benign lesions following consultation and suitability assessment.

Treatment guide

What to know before you book.

Who it is for

Mole screening is for anyone worried about a new, changing or unfamiliar lesion. CryoPen is for selected benign concerns that have been assessed as suitable for treatment.

What treatment feels like

Treatment is brief and highly targeted. Most people describe a short, cold or stinging sensation while the nitrous oxide is applied.

Healing and aftercare

The area may redden, swell, darken or form a small crust as it heals. You will receive aftercare appropriate to the lesion and treatment area.

Your plan

Mole screening starts from £75. A CryoPen consultation is £30 and first treatment starts from £80. We confirm the correct appointment and whether treatment is appropriate before proceeding.

Your appointment

Assessment comes first.

01

Consult

We listen to your concern, review relevant health information and identify the correct pathway.

02

Screen or assess

A concerning lesion can be submitted for consultant dermatologist review. Benign concerns are assessed for CryoPen suitability.

03

Treat or refer

Suitable benign lesions can be treated precisely; anything requiring further investigation is directed to the appropriate medical pathway.
