PulseLift · Stonehaven

A fresh approach to facial tone and definition.

PulseLift combines facial muscle stimulation with radiofrequency technology. For clients interested in improved facial tone, a firmer-looking appearance and natural-looking definition—without needles.

Benefits & indications

Support the way your face looks and feels.

Facial muscle tone

Electrical stimulation creates controlled muscle contractions. Treatment is designed to support facial tone in suitable clients.

Firmer-looking skin

Radiofrequency provides controlled heat to support a skin-firming approach. Settings and placement are assessed individually.

Definition & early changes in ageing

May be considered for clients noticing reduced facial definition or an early loss of tone. The aim is a subtle improvement rather than a surgical result.

A needle-free option

PulseLift does not involve microneedling. It may suit clients seeking a different approach to facial rejuvenation, subject to health and suitability assessment.

The technology

Muscle stimulation and radiofrequency in one approach.

PulseLift works through electrical facial muscle stimulation, creating repeated contractions, alongside radiofrequency heat. Your practitioner assesses the selected areas, positioning and treatment settings.

At Bio Medspa, our investment in advanced technology is guided by the results we want to help clients achieve: thoughtful, natural-looking improvement with a treatment chosen for the individual. We have been bringing advanced skin and wellness technology to the North East of Scotland since 2018.

Your treatment plan

What to expect at your appointment.

Before your session

Discuss your concern, health, medicines, recent facial procedures and any implanted devices. We confirm suitable areas and explain the proposed plan and cost.

During treatment

Expect a sensation of facial muscle contractions and warmth. Your practitioner adjusts the treatment around comfort and suitability; it should not be presented as sensation-free.

After treatment

Your practitioner explains possible temporary effects and aftercare. Recovery varies; tell us about any unexpected or persistent reaction.

Course & review

A course may be recommended, with review of the response. We explain frequency and maintenance rather than promising permanent results after a single session.

Suitability

Choose the treatment that fits your concern.

PulseLift is not suitable for everyone. Tell us about pregnancy, pacemakers or other implanted electronic devices, implants in the proposed area, active skin problems, medical conditions and recent aesthetic treatment. Your practitioner checks suitability against the device’s treatment guidance.

It does not replace surgery for substantial skin laxity or address every cause of facial ageing. If skin texture, acne scars or deeper skin renewal is the priority, Dermapen 4 or Derma RF microneedling may be options to discuss instead.

Questions answered

Before you book.

Is PulseLift the same as RF microneedling?

No. PulseLift uses electrical facial muscle stimulation with radiofrequency. Derma RF uses needles to deliver RF energy within the skin. They address different aspects of tone, texture and skin quality.

Will I look different straight away?

Response varies. Any early change should not be treated as a guaranteed final result. We discuss realistic expectations, a course if appropriate and how progress will be reviewed.

Is it painful?

You can feel muscle contractions and warmth. Comfort and tolerance vary, and settings are assessed individually.

How many sessions will I need?

The published menu includes courses of six. Your practitioner advises whether a course is appropriate, the interval between sessions and any maintenance plan.

Can it be combined with other treatments?

A wider facial treatment plan can be discussed at consultation. Suitability and timing are assessed, especially following injectables or other energy-based treatments.
