Firmer-looking skin. Naturally refreshed facial contours.
Choose a radiofrequency facial in Stonehaven for firmer-looking skin, or RF with added Dynamic Muscle Activation for skin and muscle-focused care. We assess your needs and explain both options.
Support your skin’s own collagen response.
Radiofrequency — often shortened to RF — is the type of energy used in the treatment. It is a broad technology category, rather than the name of one machine.
TriPollar radiofrequency produces heat within the skin to stimulate collagen and elastin renewal. These structural proteins help give skin its firmness and flexibility. Treatment aims to improve the appearance of skin laxity and fine lines while supporting a smoother, more defined-looking contour.
At Bio Medspa, LipoFirm Pro is one of the platforms we use for facial radiofrequency. Its TriPollar RF technology delivers controlled heating to selected tissue. We choose the applicator, settings and treatment pattern after assessing your skin. The aim is a natural-looking improvement that works with your features.
Firmness and elasticity
For skin that feels less resilient or looks less firm. Controlled RF heating supports the skin’s renewal response, with improvements developing as your treatment plan progresses.
Fine lines and skin quality
A focused option when smoother-looking skin and a refreshed appearance are priorities. We assess which concerns suit RF and which may benefit from another approach.
Facial contour support
For clients concerned about a softer-looking facial outline or jawline. We discuss the degree of change that is realistic for your skin before recommending treatment.
Skin firming, with the option of added muscle activation.
Both options begin with an assessment. Our online menu currently has one radiofrequency facial booking option. Please tell us if you are interested in added DMA, so we can discuss suitability and confirm your treatment plan before proceeding.
Advanced treatment, with personal attention throughout.
Your appointment begins with your skin, your priorities and the result you hope to see.
We review your health, current skin care and previous treatments, then agree the areas to focus on. During treatment, the facial handpiece moves over the selected area and you feel a warming sensation. Your practitioner checks your comfort and adjusts treatment to your response.
Temporary warmth or redness can occur. We explain what to expect afterwards and give aftercare advice suited to your skin and any treatments you are combining.
You may notice a fresher or firmer-looking finish after an appointment. Longer-term changes depend on your starting point, individual response and treatment plan; results vary. Where a course is recommended, we explain why and review progress rather than promising a fixed result.
The right technology for the right concern.
A radiofrequency facial focuses on skin firmness and fine lines. If cleansing, congestion and hydration are your main goals, Hydrafacial may be a useful starting point. For texture or scarring, explore Dermapen 4. For facial muscle tone, read about PulseLift.
Radiofrequency can also be part of a combined facial, such as Hydrafacial with RF. RF microneedling is a separate treatment that combines needles with radiofrequency; you can read about it on our Derma RF page. A consultation helps us explain the differences and choose the approach that suits your skin, goals and preferred downtime.
Looking for body contouring or cellulite care? Our LipoFirm Pro body treatment has its own page and booking choices.
